Works well. Our pup seemed to think it was OK. She is usually pretty hard to bathe but seemed more at ease with the spray from this than the handheld shower nozzle we had been using. I think she will become even better behaved as she gets used to it. I like that it dispenses the shampoo, just watch and get a brand that has a color as clear brands make it hard to determine if there is any shampoo left in the dispenser.
